Muhammad Shahab of Detroit pleaded guilty Wednesday for his role in organizing a Detroit-area home health care fraud scheme that billed Medicare $10.9 million for services that were never rendered, or were medically unnecessary, said U.S. Attorney Barbara McQuade in Detroit.
