Healthcare information technology provider Quality Systems, Irvine, Calif., acquired Opus Healthcare Solutions, Austin, Texas. Financial terms of the deal, which closed Feb. 10, were not disclosed. Quality Systems had previously acquired some assets of Sphere Health Systems, a Laguna Hills, Calif., software development and consulting company. Opus and Sphere's assets will become part of Quality Systems' wholly owned subsidiary NextGen Healthcare Information Systems, Horsham, Pa.
