Held hostage by the 'Blues Brothers'
I practice in Alabama where Blue Cross insures 90% of the non-Medicare insured lives in the state. In effect, we are held hostage by the “Blues Brothers” to dictate reimbursement, covered procedures, etc. This is one of the Obama proposals that actually makes sense. Time for the Blues to “play ball” and get competitive with other carriers.
