Prime Healthcare Services, Victorville, Calif., has purchased two loans made to Parkview Community Hospital Medical Center, a not-for-profit in Riverside, Calif., Prime said.
The loans originally were made to Parkview by Textron Financial Corp., a subsidiary of Textron, Providence, R.I., said Mike Sarrao, vice president and general counsel of Prime. The company announced last year that it would restrict its lending operation to supporting purchases of its products only, according to its Web site. Textron Financial wanted to sell on the loans as part of that decision, Sarrao said. One loan financed the hospital's accounts receivables, and the other is a real estate loan, Sarrao said.
