Medicare can't handle greater load
We need financial solvency in that program! Medicare's covered lives will double, according to some, by 2030. Where will that funding come from? Is the federal government also going to lower the retirement age to 55? Private employers would love to shed a large portion of their employee expenses and pass the cost to individuals.
