L. Clark Taylor Jr. will resign his position as president and CEO of Ephraim McDowell Health effective Jan. 4, 2010.
Taylor leaving CEO post at Ky. health system
Taylor, 61, will become CEO of Hospice of Chattanooga, Ephraim said in a news release. He also will join the staff of First Centenary United Methodist Church in Chattanooga. In his role at the Danville, Ky.-based health system, Taylor helped lead the completion of a $35 million expansion at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center and construct a replacement hospital for Ephraim McDowell Fort Logan Hospital.
Vicki Darnell, 51, currently executive vice president and chief operating officer, will replace Taylor as president and CEO.
