The American Hospital Association's for-profit publishing subsidiary, Health Forum, has appointed Amy Mosser to become chief operating and development officer.
Health Forum names operations, development chief
Mosser, whose age was not provided, previously worked as senior vice president and general manager of Thomson Reuters' Evanston, Ill.-based healthcare division when it was known as Solucient. She has also served as chief operating officer for the American Board of Medical Specialties, and as CEO of accounting and healthcare consulting firm Frost, Ruttenberg & Rothblatt.
Mosser, 46, takes the place of John Sukenik, who retired as chief operating officer at Health Forum. Mosser's expanded title reflects the job's expanded role in development of the organization, AHA spokeswoman Alicia Mitchell said.
