The American Medical Association has launched a new Web site intended to help patients determine the severity of their flu symptoms and share information with their physician.
AMA launches flu symptom Web site for patients
In a news release, the Chicago-based organization said the site will provide a set of online tools designed by physicians to help doctors monitor their patients' symptoms and better manage their patient flow. To help promote it, the AMA collaborated with a coalition of members that included CVS Caremark, Merck & Co., Microsoft Corp., MinuteClinic and the state of Colorado.
