Daphne Jones was named senior vice president and chief information officer of Hospira.
Jones, 52, will be responsible for implementing global information technology strategies for the company. She served previously as worldwide vice president of IT and CIO for Johnson & Johnson's Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics business unit. Jones also has held other roles with Johnson & Johnson and has worked as director of IT for Public Service Electric & Gas, Newark, N.J. She holds a master's of business management and a bachelor's degree in marketing from Illinois State University.
Lake Forest, Ill.-based Hospira makes drug delivery systems and devices.
