HIT developer DocSite names Paul Sheils CEO

Paul Sheils

Paul Sheils was named CEO of DocSite.

Sheils, 55, previously was founder and managing partner of digital health management consulting firm Silverado Health Partners and also has served as CEO of Aetna Health Information Solutions. Before joining healthcare, Sheils was vice president of Dow Jones Interactive Publishing.

Raleigh, N.C.-based DocSite develops Web-based patient registries and point-of-care decision-support tools.
