Adnan Tahir, M.D., has started in the newly created position of chief medical officer for Sisters of Charity Health System, Cleveland. Tahir, 49, will oversee the system's quality improvement; benchmarking and measurement of physician performance; resource utilization; and patient-care outcomes. He also will retain his position as CMO of St. Vincent Charity Hospital in Cleveland, one of Sisters of Charity's four hospitals.
