Woodrich takes COO post at BryanLGH Medical Center

Nebraska native John Woodrich is moving to Lincoln, Neb., to become president and chief operating officer of 349-bed BryanLGH Medical Center on Dec. 1. Woodrich succeeds Craig Ames, who retired in June from the facility that is owned by two-hospital BryanLGH Health System, Lincoln.

Woodrich, whose age was not released by BryanLGH, currently serves as president and CEO of Mercy Health System of Kansas, a two-hospital member system of Sisters of Mercy Health System, Chesterfield, Mo., that includes 72-bed Mercy Health Center-Fort Scott in Kansas.

Kim Russel, CEO of BryanLGH, said in a news release that the Nebraska system and its medical community will benefit from Woodrich’s skills as a collaborative leader and 30 years of experience.
