Paul Neumann, a longtime general counsel for Catholic Health Initiatives in Denver, is becoming general counsel for another Roman Catholic health system, Trinity Health, Novi, Mich. Neumann, 50, has not worked at 60-hospital CHI for more than a year, a system spokesman said. His new role begins on Nov. 2 at Trinity, which owns 28 hospitals and manages 14 under contract in nine states.

Trinity has had Daniel Hale splitting his time between being general counsel and executive vice president of the system’s Institute for Health and Community Benefit. Effective Nov. 2, Hale now transitions full-time into his role at the institute, focusing on community programs and chronic health issues.
