Physician Roberta Luskin-Hawk, M.D., is the new CEO of 321-bed St. Joseph Hospital, Chicago, part of nine-hospital Resurrection Health Care. Luskin-Hawk, 55, is the founder of Lakeshore Infectious Disease Associates and since 1985 has been on staff at St. Joseph, becoming chairwoman of its department of medicine. She also established the AIDS Research Alliance Chicago, a not-for-profit research consortium, and served as its principal investigator for 15 years. Luskin-Hawk assumed the CEO role at St. Joseph Hospital Aug. 31, taking over for Ronald Struxness, who is assuming new responsibilities in his role as executive vice president and group vice president over six of the system's hospitals.
