Philip Kaplan was named chief operating officer and Craig Barbarosh was appointed to the board of directors of Quality Systems.
Kaplan, 42, was serving on the company's board but resigned to take over as COO, the company said in a news release. He comes from Deer Valley Ventures, where he was CEO. Kaplan holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of California at Davis.
Barbarosh, 42, was named to succeed Kaplan on the board. He is a partner in the international law firm Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman.
Irvine, Calif.-based Quality Systems develops applications for providers to manage patient records and revenue-cycle and practice operations.
