Abha Agrawal, M.D., was appointed to the medical advisory board of MedLink International. Agrawal, whose age was unavailable at deadline, serves as interim medical director of Kings County Hospital Center in New York, and is an associate professor of medicine and medical informatics at the SUNY Downstate Medical Center, New York. She also has worked as chief medical information officer of the Central Brooklyn Family Health Network. Last year, Agrawal was named a board member of the Certification Commission for Health Information Technology's personal health-record system work group. Islandia, N.Y.-based MedLink develops electronic-health records and other applications to help providers share medical information.
