Orthopedic-device manufacturer Stryker Corp., Kalamazoo, Mich., has promoted three of its senior-level executives, according to a news release.

Lonny Carpenter, formerly group president of instruments and medical, has been appointed to the newly created position of group president for global quality and operations. Carpenter will be responsible for setting and executing Stryker's quality, manufacturing, procurement and logistic strategies.
Michael Mogul, formerly president of orthopedics, is now group president of orthopedics. He also has assumed additional leadership as a corporate officer. Former Spine and Endoscopy Group President Timothy Scannell is now president of the medical-surgical and spine group. Scannell will also take on leadership of the instruments and medical divisions.
