Jonathan Phillips was named chairman of the board of directors for Streamline Health.
Phillips, whose age was unavailable at deadline, had been serving as a member of the board, but the company said in a news release that it wanted its board led by an independent, non-management executive. He replaces J. Brian Patsy, who remains as CEO of the company. Phillips is a managing director and founder of Healthcare Growth Partners, a strategic and financial consultant for healthcare technology companies. He also was a member of the healthcare investment banking group at William Blair and Co., providing financial advisory services to healthcare companies. He holds an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
