Linda Hunt, president of St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, has been promoted to the role of service area president for Catholic Healthcare West Arizona, effective immediately.
Hunt will oversee Chandler Regional Medical Center, Mercy Gilbert Medical Center and St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center, and work with the three hospitals to expand the faith-based system’s presence and programs in the state. One of her first goals is to integrate resources and offer more collaborative programs.
“Our three medical centers and our employees are extremely dedicated to providing healthcare to their communities,” Hunt said in a statement. “My goal is to expand these opportunities while building upon our reputations for excellence.”
Hunt, 60, was recently named one of Modern Healthcare’s Top 25 Women in Healthcare.
