Mark Hulse was named vice president of information technology and chief information officer of H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute, Tampa, Fla.
Hulse, a registered nurse, will be responsible for the development and implementation of information systems initiatives, according to Moffitt. Hulse served previously as the vice president and CIO of North Shore Medical Center, Salem, Mass., and as corporate manager of information services management and planning for Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston. His age was not available at deadline.
The Moffitt Cancer Center conducts research and contributes to clinical trials in its mission to prevent and cure cancer.
