The surgery center is a joint venture between 12-hospital Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare and a group of 24 physicians from independent groups across the Milwaukee metropolitan area. The estimated $30 million project cost will be split evenly between the two groups. The orthopedic surgery center will have 16 inpatient beds and six day-surgery beds.
