The National Quality Forum will hold its 2009 Leadership Colloquium from 2 to 6 p.m. ET Tuesday, May 19, at the Kaiser Family Foundation, Washington. Keynote speaker is Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.), who will discuss his healthcare priorities, including investments in quality improvement, health information technology and a new reimbursement structure, as well as the status of health reform on Capitol Hill. The group will also honor Memorial Hermann Healthcare System with the National Quality Healthcare Award.
