Modern Healthcare is now accepting submissions for its first-ever IT Case Study Contest. The program recognizes healthcare information technology implementation projects that have improved patient care and that also may be eligible for funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. The contest submission deadline is June 1.
Healthcare organizations or corporations whose primary function is providing healthcare services to patients or financing healthcare services for patients are eligible to participate. Submissions must be written by a chief information officer or senior-level IT executive.
Several leading healthcare CIOs will assist the editorial review board, consisting of a panel of senior editors, in reviewing the submitted case studies. The best case studies will be featured in a special section of the June 29 issue of Modern Healthcare.
