NorthCrest Medical Center, Springfield, Tenn., said it hired Randy Davis as its new chief information officer. Davis, 33, has a total of six years working in healthcare IT, most recently as manager of healthcare business solutions for consulting firm BearingPoint. Davis graduated with a bachelors degree from Vanderbilt University, Nashville.
Randy brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to NorthCrest, said Scott Raynes, president and CEO of NorthCrest. Raynes recently decided to remain with NorthCrest after he accepted a job as a hospital administrator with WakeMed, Raleigh, N.C.
