Robert Gould has been named president of the Partnership for Prevention, a Washington-based coalition of business, government and not-for-profit leaders working on disease-management and health-promotion policy issues.
Gould, 58, spent the past 20 years at global communications firm Porter Novelli, where he most recently led the health and social marketing practice. Projects included the award-winning anti-tobacco truth advertising campaign. In the early 1990s, he was a lead researcher developing the new food guide pyramid for the U.S. Agriculture Department.
