Attendees at the American College of Physician Executives annual meeting, being held April 24-28 in Chicago, elected three new members to their board of directors: Hoyt Burdick, vice president, medical affairs, Cabell Huntington (W.Va.) Hospital; Elder Granger, deputy director, program executive officer, Tricare, Falls Church, Va.; and Mark Werner, executive vice president and chief medical officer, Carillion Clinic, Roanoke, Va.
Also, three board members were named to officer positions. Former vice president, Harry Leider, CMO and senior vice president of Ameritox, replaced outgoing president Cynthia Sherry, chairman of the radiology department and medical director of imaging services at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas. Former Secretary/Treasurer Alan Kaplan, who becomes vice president and CMO of the Iowa Health System on June 1, assumed the vice presidents role. And board member Clair Callan, CEO of Callan Consulting, was named secretary/treasurer.
