Humana has named Raja Rajamannar senior vice president and chief innovation and marketing officer, effective April 27.
Rajamannar will be responsible for leading the Louisville, Ky.-based health insurers Innovation Center and marketing, corporate communications and government relations divisions. He will report to Mike McCallister, Humanas president and CEO.
He replaces Jonathan Lord, who resigned to become president and CEO of Navigenics, a Foster City, Calif.-based personal genomics company, effective May 1.
Rajamannar spent the past 15 years with Citigroup. He was most recently executive vice president and chief marketing officer for the New York-based banking conglomerate's global cards division. His age was not available.
