Nurse practitioners can help ease access woes

Regarding the article “Millions are ‘medically disenfranchised’: report”:

What about the 125,000 nurse practitioners in this country who are uniquely prepared to provide primary-care services that are patient centered high quality and cost-effective? Things will never change as long as people focus only on physicians.
