DST Systems said it completed the acquisition of the remaining half of Argus Health Systems for $57 million in cash.
The Kansas City, Mo.-based company had owned a 50% interest in Argus, which provides pharmacy benefit plan processing services. It announced in February it had reached an agreement to buy the rest of the company, held by Financial Holding Corp. for insurer Americo Life. Argus now operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of DST, the company said.
DST Systems provides information processing and computer services to several industries, including healthcare.
