John Kutch has been named the new president and chief executive officer of Trinity Health, a Minot, N.D.-based system anchored by Trinity Hospital, a two-campus facility with 294 hospital and 292 nursing home beds. He will start approximately on June 1, a spokeswoman said.
Kutch, 37, replaces Terry Hoff who retired July 1 last year after 38 years with Trinity, including 22 as president. During Hoffs tenure, Trinitys annual budget grew to $250 million from $32 million, a news release said.
Kutch is currently the president and CEO of the 64-bed Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital in Grand Rapids, Minn. Prior to that, he worked with the four-hospital Willis-Knighton Health System based in Shreveport, La., where he started as the vice president of revenue-cycle operations and management and became the chief operating officer and senior vice president in 2005, a news release said. Kutch has also worked as CEO of the Fargo, N.D.-based Heartland Provider Network.
