In response to Andis Robeznieks Doc use of IT up; money still key issue: ACPE survey":
While the data reported is very encouraging, Im concerned about the accuracy, since the data is based upon 10% of the 10,000 members of the American College of Physician Executives who filled out an online survey. My question is: Did all 10,000 of those members have access to the online survey? What if 5,000 of the 10,000 doctors are still operating their practice completely offline, and therefore didnt even have the Internet access to complete the survey? By hosting the survey only online, they may have skewed their sample set, and the 60% of the 1,000 docs that actually completed the survey cant be transposed to the full population of 10,000 people.
