Availity announced it promoted Russ Thomas to president in addition to his role as chief operating officer.
Thomas, 46, joined as executive vice president and COO in 2008. He served previously as chief executive officer of Gold Standard, a developer of clinical knowledge systems. He holds a law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law and a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech.
Jacksonville, Fla.-based Availity develops health information exchange networks.
