As often happens in the sheltered halls of academia, Steven Wartman, president and chief executive officer of the Association of Academic Health Centers, does not seem to heed the importance of patients trust.
I imagine that almost everyone understands that if a person fears the security of electronic health records, he or she will naturally hide their frailties. What will that do to the accuracy of research results? Simple: Garbage in, garbage out.
