Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Dakota said it is joining Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska in a new healthcare technology company that is expected to bring jobs to Fargo, N.D., and Omaha, Neb.
A Blues written statement said the Fargo-based company will be called CoreLink Administrative Solutions and will process health claims from Nebraska, North Dakota and Wyoming.
The North Dakota Blues' statement said more than 100 of its former employees now work for CoreLink. By the end of the year it's expected to employ about 100 more. The plan got approval from state insurance departments in late December.
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska's employee and retiree group health insurance claims are now being processed on CoreLink's systems, along with claims from North Dakota and Wyoming, the statement said.
