Ed Kopetsky was named chief information officer of Lucile Packard Childrens Hospital, Palo Alto, Calif., effective Jan. 7.
Kopetsky, 53, previously was partner and executive vice president of Healthlink, an IBM Corp. subsidiary, where he led healthcare provider client services. Prior to that, he was CIO at Centura Health, Englewood, Colo., and at Sharp Healthcare, San Diego, both health-service delivery networks. He replaces John McInally, who left the hospital late last year.
