Ken Horowitz was named chief executive officer of North Star Health, the company announced.
Horowitz served previously as president and chief operating officer at Employease, a Web-based human resources and benefits applications company bought by ADP in 2006. He also has held management positions with PeopleSoft and HBO & Co. Horowitz replaces Paul Davis, a physician who founded the company and will become chief strategy officer for the company. Horowitzs age was unavailable at deadline.
Atlanta-based North Star develops healthcare data analytics including risk, cost and care-management services.
