Cleveland Clinic Health System named Sarah Sinclair to fill its new position of executive chief nursing officer. Sinclair, 63, will come to the 11-hospital system Feb. 1 from Memorial Hermann Health System in Houston, where she was chief patient-care officer for its eight hospitals. At Cleveland Clinic, she will lead efforts to establish evidence-based standards of care across the system. Sinclair is a registered nurse and has an MBA.
Meanwhile, Debra Albert will become chief nursing officer at Cleveland Clinics main campus, a position she has held on an interim basis since this past summer. Albert, 44, also has been named chairwoman of the Cleveland Clinic Nursing Institute. Albert is a registered nurse with masters degrees in nursing and business administration. -- by Gregg Blesch
