HCA, Nashville, promoted Donald Stinnett to fill the vacant position of controller, effective Dec. 1. Stinnett, 52, also will be a senior vice president and will report to Milton Johnson, HCAs executive vice president and chief financial officer. Stinnett will be responsible for financial reporting, accounting, insurance, risk management, capital asset management, budgeting and tax-related issues, HCA said.
Stinnett is leaving the post of CFO of HCAs Eastern group of hospitals. He joined the company in 1999 as CFO of its Far West division. In 2005, he was named CFO of the Eastern group. -- by Vince Galloro
