NightHawk Radiology Holdings founders Paul Berger, 66, and his son Jon Berger, 41, have resigned their positions with the radiology workflow solutions company to pursue other interests, according to a news release. Paul Berger was chief executive officer for the Coeur DAlene, Idaho-based company, while Jon Berger served as senior vice president of strategy and business development.
In addition, Paul Berger will retain his post as the nonexecutive chairman of NightHawks board and will stay on in an executive capacity for several months to assist with the companys transition. Jon Berger has resigned his board membership.
David Engert, a NightHawk director and member of the audit and nominating and corporate governance committees, became the new CEO. Engert, 58, most recently was president and CEO of revenue-management solutions company Quality Care Solutions.
