The Network for Regional Healthcare Improvement, Pittsburgh, named Harold Miller to succeed Maulik Joshi as president and chief executive officer, effective Nov. 10.
Joshi, 40, the health quality coalitions first president, stepped down Nov. 7 after about 16 months leading NRHI to succeed Mary Pittman as president of the Health Research and Educational Trust, an affiliate of the American Hospital Association, and senior vice president for research for the Chicago-based AHA.
Miller, 52, heads the NRHI after consulting for the organization for two years. He is also adjunct professor of public policy and management at Carnegie Mellon University. The NRHI is a national coalition of regionally based organizations seeking to improve the quality and value of healthcare delivery.
