James Corbett was named president and chief executive officer of Vertos Medical, the company announced.
Corbett, whose age was unavailable at deadline, served previously as president and CEO of EV3a position from which he resigned last springleading the development of its peripheral and neurovascular device business. He also has held executive positions with Home Diagnostics, Boston Scientific Corp. and Baxter Healthcare. He will be responsible for helping to rollout Vertos new minimally invasive lumbar decompression technology. He holds a bachelors degree in business administration from Kansas University.
