The National Quality Forum is looking for people to participate in the second health information technology expert panel and two work groups that will continue to develop recommendations for standardized electronic health-record data measures.
The new panel will expand the work of the first panel established last year, which developed a set of required data types so that EHRs could collect and transmit quality measures. The new panel will map clinical workflow, identify data needed for performance measurement and recommend a standardized quality data set to quality professionals, including the Healthcare Information Technology Standards Panel, according to an announcement about the panel. The NQF said it also will include the panels recommendations in its measure endorsement process.
Nominations are due by Friday, Nov. 21.
