Ricardo Cury, M.D., has been named to the new position of medical director of cardiac imaging at 584-bed Baptist Hospital of Miami (Fla.) and the Baptist Cardiac & Vascular Institute. Cury, 31, most recently worked at 907-bed Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, where he was director of teleradiology and education of cardiac CT, director of clinical cardiac MRI, and assistant professor at Harvard Medical School, a news release said. He earned his medical degree from Santos School of Medical Sciences in Sao Paolo, Brazil, and completed a clinical and research fellowship in cardiovascular imaging at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School. Baptist Hospital is an affiliate of the not-for-profit, five-hospital Baptist Health South Florida system based in Coral Gables.
