Francisco Partners, a San Francisco-based venture capital firm, has agreed to acquire API Software, Hartford, Wis., a developer of human resource software systems for healthcare organizations, including time and attendance, staffing, scheduling, payroll, workflow, productivity management, education tracking and access control, according to spokespersons for the companies. The transaction is expected to close within 30 days, according to an API spokesperson. Terms of the deal were undisclosed.

Dairyland Healthcare Solutions, now renamed Healthland, Glenwood, Minn., and last month, Healthland acquired Waco, Texas-based Advanced Professional Software, a developer of financial systems for small hospitals.
