DocuSys, Atlanta, which provides systems for anesthesia information management, medication management and pre-surgical care, has completed its acquisition of Prompte, a software developer based in Chicago. Financial terms of the dealannounced earlier this yearwere not disclosed.
Prompte founder David Young will join DocuSys as medical director of pre-surgical care management, according to the company. Young is also an attending anesthesiologist at 583-bed Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Ill.
This acquisition will allow us to combine the Prompte technology, which has been renamed to the DocuSys Presurgical Care Management System, with our current anesthesia information management system, Robert Watson, president and chief executive officer of DocuSys, said in a news release.
