Want to find out how much a South Carolina nursing home or doctor gets in Medicaid reimbursements? The state is now posting that and other provider information online. The move by the state's HHS department, which administers the $5.4 billion Medicaid program, is part of an initiative by Gov. Mark Sanford to improve government transparency. It also will help DHHS locate "unusual billing patterns," Emma Forkner, director of the state HHS department, said in a statement.
