Regarding President Bushs veto of the Medicare bill:
I resigned from Medicare on July 1, 2008. My malpractice insurance has increased 85% in the past five years, and I am going broke. If my patients want me to care for them, they have to pay reasonable fees. If I'm bankrupt, I am no longer available to treat them.
