Emergency Medical Associates named Raymond Iannaccone, M.D., to succeed Charles Grunau, M.D., as president and chief executive officer. Iannaccone joined the Livingston, N.J.,-based emergency physician group in 2003 and previously served as executive vice president, board member and the EMA interim president and CEO. Grunau served as the EMA chief executive for a decade.
Iannaccone earned his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, N.Y., where he did his internal medicine internship. He completed an internal medicine residency at the Portsmouth (Va.) Naval Hospital and has received training in diving. He served in the U.S. Navy Reserve for 22 years. -- by Melanie Evans
