The Louisiana State University Health Care Services Division, Baton Rouge, has named Sherre Pack-Hookfin as chief executive officer of the Lallie Kemp Regional Medical Center, a critical-access hospital with outpatient clinics in Independence, La.
Pack-Hookfin, 50, has 28 years of healthcare experience, including 23 years in senior hospital management. She has served as acting CEO at Lallie Kemp since July 2007, after LeVern Meades retired. Previously, she served as the hospitals associate administrator, acute-care administrator, and human resources director and equal employment opportunity coordinator. Pack-Hoofkin began her career at Lallie Kemp as a typist clerk in August 1979, shortly after earning a bachelors degree from Southeastern University.
