Publicly traded InfoLogix, the Hatboro, Pa.-based provider of mobile computing systems for healthcare and other industries, has acquired Delta Health Systems, a privately held healthcare financial consulting firm based in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
Terms of the deal were not announced pending filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission expected Wednesday, according to Jason Fradin, vice president of marketing for InfoLogix.
InfoLogix provides healthcare products and services including radio frequency identification, or RFID, systems for patients and assets, wireless communications systems, medication management systems and mobile workstations as well consulting services for clinical information technology systems. The company claims 1,400 hospital clients across the country and, according to David Gulian, president and chief executive officer, about 63% of InfoLogixs revenue last year came from healthcare.
Founded in 2001, InfoLogix acquired Healthcare Informatics Associates, Bainbridge Island, Wash., in October 2007, a healthcare IT consulting firm whose personnel included pharmacists and nurses, Gulian said.
